powers opt-in

After Viktor's canon update and power regain, he will have new powers.

If your character makes skin-to-skin contact with Viktor, the following can happen, if consented to:

• He can heal all of your character's injuries and illnesses, even permanent disabilities like spinal cord injury. Damaged parts of the body will have kintsugi-style iridescent gold after their transformation. He heals by touching the forehead/face, leaving permanent iridescent gold fingerprints.


• He can enter your character's mind and explore their psyche (including viewing their memories and learning deep secrets INSTANTLY) in the astral plane. He can heal psychological problems this way, but it takes a lot of time and effort and time spent continuously in this plane. You as the player have creative control over what Viktor sees in this plane, but it must be a visual representation of their psyche. Paint a fun picture of their trauma for him! Your character can also interact with him in this plane, while remaining aware of their surroundings.


• He can speak and sense through your character's body, even over a long distance, but only if your character allows him.

So, consent needs to be obtained before touch and also for each successive step of these powers, as well as each time they are used. Viktor will always ask for consent, or I will ask you OOC, if IC consent isn't possible. If your character wants to be healed by Viktor but doesn't want to deal with the above, he can use his Saving Seal (magic healing wand he invented) on them instead.

Comment here to opt in or out. Opting in means you are willing to play with some or all of this, with IC consent. You can specify which powers you're down/not down for, and specify by character. Opting out means I will avoid the use of all of these powers, which may require avoiding skin-to-skin contact (as the healing is involuntary).

Tentatively opting in for all of mine if plot allows for it. Really, the only one of mine that has chronic physical injuries severe enough to warrant that level of healing would be Tieve, but Loki has hella psychological injuries but it would take a lot for him to opt in ICly. And obviously the chance of catastrophic injuries in events is always high and I'm happy to play around with ideas.

OOCly I love writing mindscapes, so beware of TL;DR but I'm game any time.

Opting in for Bel and physical healing, since he'll probably need it for the upcoming event. Bel is very much the type of person who will consent to things, then think about the consequences later.

(Of my others, Simon might consider the psychological work if his issues ever get harder to manage, but he'd probably want to talk through them first to warn Viktor what he might see. Granted, Simon is not a reliable narrator: not only does he have PTSD surrounding things, but he was under a geas that affected his emotions (he wanted to make his patron happy, and she was a Very Bad Lady). So potential there.)
